Gary Malkin is an award-winning composer, producer, performer and public speaker who has received multiple Emmy, ASCAP, and Clio awards acknowledging his work in film and television. He has served as the Artistic Director for the Quest for Global Healing Conferences (featuring Archbishop Desmond Tutu) and has created the music for the Pachamama Alliance’s global educational phenomenon, the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium. He also created the music for the groundbreaking feature documentary, THRIVE: What on Earth Will It Take? Gary serves as the director for the Arts for Transformation and Healing Program for the non-profit organization, Sol Sanctuary, which supports people in facing their life transitions with greater compassion and presence. His internationally acclaimed CD/Book, Graceful Passages (co-created with Michael Stillwater) has touched over half a million lives, awakening people to the preciousness of life. Gary is also the co-author of the CD/book Safe in the Arms of Love, which supports parents deepen the bonding process with their babies before and after birth. He has presented to numerous conferences internationally, including Harvard’s Conferences on Spirituality and Health, the National Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Institute for Noetic Sciences, the Institute for Functional Medicine, and a nationally televised presentation on music and healing at the Great Hall of China. As a writer, he is represented in an acclaimed compilation on spirituality at the end of life, A Time for Listening and Caring.
